In case you missed it— ‘two’, my high school webseries, is back.
‘two’ was created by myself and Cristin Von Schlag. Despite having no experience or any idea what to do with production quality, it was more or less the most vivid world I’ve ever created. We released ten episodes between 30-50 minutes each in 2018, with plans to conclude the series with a twelve(!) episode Season 2 in 2020. Obviously, that never happened. I didn’t know enough to pull it together. The scripts totalled thousands of pages, and it just wasn’t feasible.
But now, years later, I’m returning to the world of Scout and Angelica. Initially through a muted rerelease on Sparkk— with the end goal of revisiting and concluding this story in a more concrete fashion.
Scout Stevens is my favorite character I ever created and played— he was essentially designed to be the opposite of me, but ultimately turned out to share a lot of DNA in terms of loneliness and anger.
He had an acerbic wit, strange style, and a lot of repressed feelings. And I’m really hoping to revisit him, at least one last time.
In the meantime, I would love for some eyes on the original ‘two’! Either when it releases on Sparkk or if you’re willing to give thoughts beforehand. Please do reach out! It drops on Sparkk in weekly installments starting late October. Again, production quality is not great, but it had and has a truly special heart!
Thanks,
Craig
