So, I’ve been quiet. That’s for good reason.
Not because I’m moving in silence or something. I genuinely have had nothing to say due to an unfortunate cocktail of creative, interpersonal, and medical events. But I’m back. Hi.
Not going to get into the personal stuff. There’s only so many times and ways I can complain about my mental health on here and make it interesting. Here’s where I am:
I’ve gone full-time at my job! I’m no longer a temp. This is exciting, but brings its own set of challenges and pitfalls.
TURTLETASTIC: QUILL IN THE BIG CITY, the TURTLETASTIC spinoff by Anastaisia Brady, released and has done quite well for itself on Sparkk and in festivals.
It made it into NJ Webfest, my “holy grail” festival for years, and secured a nomination for Kyra and Molly’s chemistry.
If you haven’t watched it yet, its here:
THE CLUBHOUSE has had, quite frankly, a quiet and difficult few months. We have two filming days left, and one of them is scheduled for very soon. We also released a teaser in case you missed it:
TURTLETASTIC is returning for a third season as a chaotic sports comedy about wrestling and cryptids. Excited for this one. We’ve done a table read but had to reformat and push it back somewhat. New release date TBD.
THE CELLAR’s second season is coming very soon. We’re finalizing edits for the first half of the season, and starting on recording for the second half even sooner.
Other than that, well… not much has happened. I’ve been having problems. Everyone has problems. I have to learn to deal with them. Sigh.
It’s worth noting that I’d announced a Hurt revival and some other things that I’m shelving. I’ll speak more on that when I can, but my priorities are shifting as I look at my life and output and what is and isn’t working.
In the unlikely event you have read all this, I appreciate you. If not, no worries. I appreciate everyone.
Craig
